midwest sunset ring

a stone shaped and polished by none other than my Midwest father. I’m reminded often of the pull on my heartstrings living away from family creates, but so much peace fills my heart when I think of the joy they’ve shared that knowing I’m pursuing my dream Colorado life brings them. so, if nothing else, I hope this description alone helps you find peace in the distance and joy in the knowing putting yourself first does truly bring others joy too at times.
